Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is renowned for his flamboyant personality, both on and off the football field. Just days after spiking a replica of the Lombardi Trophy and chugging beer from it, Kelce continues his quest to uphold his mischievous bad-boy image, aiming to entertain his fans and particularly his brother, Jason Kelce.
Last season, Jason Kelce, the football center for the Philadelphia Eagles, made history as the first player to face his brother, Travis Kelce, in the Super Bowl. Known for their comedic antics both on and off the field, the Kelce brothers often entertain fans with their humorous discussions on their show, “The New Heights.” However, in a surprising turn of events, they recently broached the subject of a teenage love story, only to dismiss it as trash.

During a recent episode of “The New Heights,” Jason Kelce, alongside his brother Travis, ventured into a non-sports topic by bringing up the popular film series “Twilight.” What started as a casual discussion quickly took a humorous turn when Jason described the $ 3,000,000,000-earning teen love story as trash. The conversation revolved around Jason’s personal experience with the Twilight series, which he had watched recently at his home. Jason began by mentioning his decision to watch the Twilight series while being stuck at home. Playfully teasing Travis, he asked if he was familiar with the franchise, to which Travis admitted his lack of knowledge. Jason, somewhat surprised, asked again if Travis had never heard of the Twilight series. Travis responded with uncertainty, asking if it was a book.
Amused by Travis’s lack of awareness, Jason clarified that it was indeed a book series consisting of five installments, all of which he found to be “absolutely terrible.” Jason proceeded to narrate the entire storyline of the Twilight series, eliciting laughter from Travis throughout. He recounted how he had invited Kylie saying, ?I asked Kylie if she wanted to watch the first one, and I watched the first one, and it was absolutely terrible, and then I continued to watch the four other ones after that, and shocker they were all bad.? When Travis inquired about Jason’s loyalty to one side of the character conflict in the series, Jason humorously responded that he sided with the notion that the movie “shouldn’t exist.”
He expressed his dissatisfaction with the acting and criticized other aspects of the films, passionately describing his reasons for disliking them. Meanwhile, Travis, growing bored, took the opportunity to rest and nap during intervals in Jason’s narration. Playfully interrupting Jason, Travis suggested, ?We don’t need to go over your recap.? He further added, ?As much fun as you had watching it we’re having as much fun listening to you describe this sh*t.? He again made an alarm for his brother, saying, ?Jason ….stop! Just call me whenever you’re ready,? and kept himself busy napping and scrolling the phone midway. It’s not that Travis isn’t interested in films or commercials; in fact, both the Kelce brothers share a mutual interest in acting as well.
