More than just a game, this Monday will witness two of the greatest quarterbacks lock their horns for maybe one last time. Because Brady might hang his cleats by the end of this season, and he must seal a win in order to depart on a high note. Recently, the Packers QB spoke about his mindset playing in the next game, where the reporters asked him about his previous comments on not playing until 45 like Brady.

“I won’t be. I’ll be doing something else. I have a lot of other interests outside of the game. At some point, it’ll be time to do something else. And I strongly believe that’ll be before 45.” Rodgers said to the reporters.

Moreover, he admires his Buccaneers counterpart more than ever. When asked what impresses him the most about Brady, Rodgers said, “You know his consistency, he’s still playing at a high level, and there’s not that drop-off,”. He mentioned many players fear that dragging their careers might turn them into average athletes and degrade their dominance; however, some seem to hold themselves to play for one more year.

Aaron Rodgers responds on whether Tom Brady was the same old guy

The Buccaneers quarterback is 45, and Rodgers is 38. Both of them have played more than any other athlete would imagine. And being the right person to comment on Brady’s performance, the Packers signal-caller said that unless his age has resulted in showing reactions to his physical strength, Brady is pretty much the same.

“He’s probably better mentally and slightly regressed physically, you know, he takes care of himself incredibly, but you know, I’m sure 45,” Rodgers said when the reporters asked if Brady was the same guy 10 years ago.

As much as Rodgers praised Tom Brady for his greatness, the Buccaneers QB affirmed that the game isn’t going to be easy. It is equally tough for the passer to bring him into his zone, especially when the Packers have a young tough defense this season. Well, fans won’t have to wait for long, the matchup is almost here.
