Aaron Rodgers has once again shockingly ended his season after a remarkable campaign with the Green Bay Packers. It was surely not the outcome everyone hoped to see, but in the end, it all boiled down to a quality special team that made the difference. But now, the Packers have a lot of decisions to make.

Many key players of the Packers are on the verge of ending their contracts, and it is to be seen as to whom do the Packers retain. Speaking of quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who got into a dispute with the franchise the previous offseason, is still weighing his decision, however, he has started to drop hints after losing the game against the San Francisco 49ers.

It was a disappointing defeat for the Packers since they already had an upper hand early on in the game. And the Niners made an astonishing comeback in the second half of the game. Although it was a miraculous return for Jimmy Garoppolo, it was an equally big shock to Rodgers. The veteran quarterback is still to make a final decision on his partnership with the Packers.

Rodger’s decision will be a big one since many other key players would rely on that decision to choose whether they should stay or not. And now it seems that the franchise is in peril, as the Packers have to make decisions on players like Davante Adams, Allen Lazard, Robert Tonyan, and Kevin King.

Since the franchise enters the offseason with $44.8 million over the salary cap of the aforementioned players, as per NFL Insider’s Adam Schefter.

When Aaron Rodgers was asked about his future with the Green Bay Packers or if he could win another Super Bowl with them, the quarterback replied:

“I don’t know. That’s a fair question. Definitely one I’ve thought about. But there are a lot of decisions to be made. Key players, a lot of guys who played tonight… so many guys whose contracts are up or on the brink, or salary cap stuff. So, a lot of decisions to be made. I don’t want to be part of a rebuild if I’m going to keep playing. So a lot of decisions in the next couple of months.”
