The talk of the town, Aaron Rodgers’ injury is taking a positive turn for A-Rod enthusiasts. With his season-ending injury, the New York Jets have faced a huge setback as their star QB bid an early adieu to the season. This major setback comes with a challenge to fill in the void created by his absence. As the season progresses, it gets interesting to see how the Jets navigate his daunting roadblock. That being said, Rodgers is making progress off-field. 

After his surgery, a positive statement came from the quarterback himself for NFL enthusiasts. Hinting at his motivation to make a stamping comeback, Rodgers showed his strength by making a cryptic statement: “Watch what I do”. But again, there’s a lot more to this message.

Rodgers made an appearance at the popular “The Pat McAfee Show” When asked by host Pat McAfee about his expected return, A-Rod signified the importance of inspiration he needs. Moreover, he requested his fans to surrender their doubts, highlighting the magical essence of life. Initially, his injury is said to have taken his season away but Rodgers’ willingness to be at the gridiron again was stronger than his injury.

Hinting at his comeback, Rodgers stated, “All I need is that one little extra percent of inspiration, that’s all I need. So give me your doubts, give me your prognostications, and then watch what I do.” It’s evident, how willing Rodgers is to make a comeback and lodge it as the greatest comeback in the history of the NFL. 

No one else would be more tensed with Rodgers’ injury than the Jets. The iconic trade of the NFL history just went in vain. However, it was the Jets’ big move to end their decades-long Super Bowl drought.

Rodgers’ injury: The Jets in dilemma

The Jets won their first and last Super Bowl championship in 1969 and since then the Jets’ management has forgotten what victory looks like. Their desperation to revive themselves was evident with their off-season trades, one of them being RB Dalvin Cook and A-Rod’s trade. The four-time MVP, Aaron Rodgers had the accountability to make this season count for the Jets.

But with a harrowing twist in the plan, the Jets are forced to move forward with their QB1 Zach Wilson, until they find Rodgers’ replacement. In the season opener, the Jets lodged their first victory against the Buffalo Bills, but the loss of their highly anticipated QB was greater than that victory. However, the time only tells how the Jets will emerge stronger to grab their second Super Bowl championship.
