Aaron Rodgers is coming through a bumpy ride this season. After the small offensive revamps, the QB1 is missing some of his old receivers. Moving forward, the Packers will face the Bills in Buffalo. It was the ideal time for A-Rod to snap a joke on one of his favorite teammates. His statement makes it evident that he is excited to face the Touchdown Jesus.

Following the Week 7 debacle, the Green Bay Packers QB1 appeared on the Pat McAfee Show. Aaron Rodgers began the conversation by addressing the fan backlash that Green Bay is seeing. A-Rod also got to make a quip when he pointed out wide receiver Jake Kumerow while addressing their upcoming Week 8 rivals, the Buffalo Bills.

Aaron Rodgers mentioned, “I know we’re playing a tough opponent. They’re coming off a bye week (and) they get an extra week to prepare for us. They got a great quarterback, a great defense, very well coached, a lot of weapons — Jake Kumerow. A lot going for them. But we’re the underdog this week which is a new uh new spot for us.”

To give context, Jake Kumerow served alongside Aaron Rodgers in Green Bay from 2017 through 2020. His sudden departure amid final cuts before the 2020 season contributed to Rodgers’ animosity with the Packers front office the following summer.

During the Pat McAfee show, Rodgers mentioned he believes in individuals and expects them to perform at a high level. According to A-Rod, they have discussed specific topics for months, and they will recall them at the moment. The QB1 added they would do the right thing and would make this world.
