Aaron Rodgers gets candid about retirement

In the Pat McAfee show, the former NFL punter asked Rodgers about life after football. In reply, the Packers’ QB said, I mean, I’m human. Of course, you think about life after football and it’s not. You know, like you turn it on at some points and turn it off. I mean, I think when you have interests outside of the game, there’s always things that come up that you spend time doing in some of your free time… you are gonna do more when you are done playing.

Rodgers also talks about his interests outside football and how much he is looking forward to those once his football career is over. However, he also talks about focusing on football and preparations for this season, as they still have a chance to qualify for the playoffs.

I’m not like looking forward to the end and life after football is going to be a tough transition. It’s for every player that finishes up and I don’t know when that’s gonna be. I don’t know if it’s going to be after the season or after three more seasons.

After a great win, they suffered another loss against the Titans, as the crowd started booing the team at the Lambeau Field stadium. Next Sunday, they will play one of the most impressive teams this season, the Eagles. Clearly, it won’t be an easy game for Rodgers and his team. However, if the Packers want to qualify for the playoffs, they have to win every remaining game possible. And Rodgers has to step up on big occasions to help his team get the wins.
