Green Bay Packers hold onto a late onslaught by the Cleveland Browns
Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams were on song earlier today as the duo led the Packers to a hard-fought 24-22 victory over the Cleveland Browns. The contest was an absolute thriller that ended with a nail-biting finish, courtesy of Baker Mayfield.
The Browns needed just two points to win the match in the final minute, but a last-ditch interception on Baker Mayfield by Rasul Douglas meant the Packers continued their winning form.
Baker Mayfield, who returned from injury, had a terrible night. Not only did he mess up the final TD, but he also had three other interceptions. The Packers were carried by Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams like always. While the former gave a record-breaking performance, the latter continued his consistent run with yet another ‘2TD’

Soaking in the applause, the Packers captain took a moment to feel grateful about the Lambeau field atmosphere. “I mean this is what it’s all about. It’s Christmas night in Lambeau. Like I said last week, where would you rather be? It’s a special place and I’m eternally blessed and I don’t lose sight of that,” said Rodgers.
The quarterback then revealed that he is grateful to have such loving fans, and he counts them as blessings in life. “I think that’s the most important thing as you get older having that perspective of living a life counting your blessings and not the things you don’t have. I have a lot of blessings in Green Bay and I am grateful to be here.”
