Moreover, the Packers‘ QB reveals his experience of being a huge football fan during his high school days. He used to play as a QB on Friday night in high school, competing against his friends. Later, he developed a huge liking for one college team, who he still admires.
The 4x NFL MVP recalls rocking the Viking horns on his helmet while being at his high school games. He surely cherished his high school days as everyone does. But Rodgers became serious about football and pursued his college dream proactively.
What was the dream college football team of Aaron Rodgers?
The star QB reveals that his favorite team was Florida State. In the interview, he said, “I dreamt about playing on Saturdays and my favorite team was Florida State. Dear dear friend Gill played late 70s or early 80s and would come over from time to time to watch games with us.”

He added, “Florida State was a powerhouse in the 90s. Always a perennial national championship team. That’s where I wanted to go and when I went to the combine, the point of the story is I was in the same group as the starting quarterback during my time.”
All in all, Rodgers always wanted to play for Florida State but never got the chance because of his opponent, who was also trying to get in as a starting QB. Nevertheless, he went to a community college and later transferred to the University of California, Berkeley and the rest is history.
