Aaron Rodgers is not your usual metal-pounding, heavy-lifting athlete. The QB may have been a beast on the field sometimes. But off it, the former MVP is as unconventional as can be. Fans may be shocked to hear other elements of Rodgers’ routine that are contrary to what is generally assumed of an athlete. However, he may have missed something important from his routine.

In an interview, Rodgers revealed some interesting titbits of his life including something that was taken by a former flame. And no, the athlete, fortunately, did not say something corny like “his heart”.

According to the interview with Men’s Health Magazine, Aaron Rodgers’ postgame recovery routine is quite therapeutic. It includes a glass of Scotch and resting on his BioMat. The QB also uses an FDA-approved heated pad with amethyst crystals. In the morning, A-Rod had a Graston rubdown and sauna. Now, coming to the missing element, Rodgers is currently lacking a hyperbaric chamber.

Hyperbaric chambers also known as oxygen therapy chambers enable the lungs to gather more oxygen through higher air pressure. A-Rod assumed that one of his exes gave it to him as a present. But unfortunately, in his case, gifts can be taken away, especially if they’re from a former partner. The article states that Rodgers assumed it was a gift but the present reality shows us that it was only a temporary addition to his routine. Perhaps, the QB will have to invest in one of his own. Given his success, it wouldn’t be too hard for him to do so.

Rodgers breaks the stereotype

The QB has not revealed which of his exes is responsible for taking away the gift that was vital to his recovery. A-Rod has previously caused quite a stir because of his relationships with A-list celebrities Olivia Munn, Shailene Woodley, and Danica Patrick.

From star signs to proactive teas, there are many things that the QB does, that go completely against the athlete stereotype. Seeing a quarterback talking about crystals and drug-laced tea is quite the culture shock for ardent followers of the game. But Rodgers seems to have taken the path less traveled. But despite all the unconventional add-ons, Rodgers’ season has been far from good. The QB will look forward to re-evaluating his position and deciding on his longevity with the Green Bay Packers.
