Aaron Rodgers drops the bomb
In his recent showing on ‘Pat McAfee’s Show’, Rodgers did allude to this incident. McAfee, who is used to seeing Rodgers throw straight spirals for a living, was shocked to see Rodgers speak of his poor throwing after the game. “My thumb is what it is. It’s been an issue since the Giants. Not an issue that I’m going to rely on for an excuse,” said the experienced quarterback.

He went on to say that his thumb wasn’t an issue when they beat the Cowboys, so it definitely couldn’t be an issue in their loss to the Titans, where he was a little short of his original self. “I mean I’ve broken other fingers in the past. I’ve played a season in college at stretch with my index finger broken,” said Rodgers when asked about his thumb situation. The NFL community suspected a broken bone situation for Rodgers, but his statement here didn’t reveal the full scenario. However, he did mention playing with broken fingers in the past, which means he could have actually broken his thumb.
