Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers’ toe has made some positive progress. The toe has been the highlight since Rodgers fractured it in his 10 day quarantine period after testing positive for COVID-19. Even though Rodgers is still not attending practice, the week off has been really beneficial for his injury.

Aaron Rodgers aiming to return soon

The quarterback wants to get over the fractured pinky toe before the end of the regular season. “This was really, really positive. The time to heal and not do anything now for going on 10 days has been really, really helpful,” said Rodgers. “We’re hoping we can get on the other side of this. We don’t know until Sunday after the game and Monday how it will react to all the healing that’s taken place and the pounding that will happen on Sunday, so we’ll see how it recovers on Sunday and Monday.”

Aaron Rodgers is going to push himself to play the game against the Chicago Bears on Sunday. Rodgers believes that the rest he got on bye week combined with another week on top has been enough. With 5 games left in the season, the QB thinks his healing is going in the right direction.

“I feel good that these two weeks are going to give me a real good chance of getting a lot of the healing done,” Rodgers adds. “We’re so far out now from the initial injury that I’d like to think that any damage I might do on Sunday will pale in comparison to the healing that’s been done the last few weeks.” Rodgers did a walkthrough, and he said he would love to participate in field practice soon.
