Aaron Rodgers’ toe tango: the training camp twist that kept us on our toes!
August brought an NFL shockwave as it was reported that Aaron Rodgers had been sidelined by an unexpected twist during training camp. A Jets defensive player, Jermaine Johnson II, blitzed in like a freight train, breaking the cardinal rule of camp. In a blink, Johnson accidentally toe-tapped A-Rod’s pinky toe. Now, at 37, the last thing Rodgers needs is a lower-body setback. Rodgers, however, didn’t break that toe, though he had to sideline himself briefly just to be sure everything was on the up and up.

This isn’t the first time Rodger’s toes have been the talk of the town. While that sentence may read somewhat bizarre on first glance, its important to note that Rodgers played with a dislocated pinky on his left foot throughout the 2021 season. While the star may be brisk on his feet he isn’t quite as nimble on his toes. That being said he is still a nail-on, for being a gamechanger this season.
