Aaron Rodgers and Christian Watson fought hard. The promising duo combined well to keep Packers in the hunt. However, the Titans upped the possession to clinch a 27-17 win at the Lambeau Stadium on Thursday night football.

The Packers’ home crowd witnessed a see-saw battle but were unhappy. They vented out their frustration and booed at the 2011 Super Bowl winners. In the post-game presser, a reporter mentioned it to the iconic star. Aaron Rodgers took a few seconds of pause.

He moved his head sideways and quipped “interesting.” A second later, he added, “that’s the best I can give you.” The experienced QB stopped short of playing a blame game.

A few minutes earlier, he denoted that a win would have lifted the team before heading into a break. The home fans hoped for Packers glory after last Sunday’s win over the Cowboys. As per the Packers’ Twitter handle, 77,506 attendees watched the game at the iconic venue.

A-Rod looked tired at the presser. Playing two games in five days had affected the morale of the Packers camp. However, the 38 YO stopped short of complaining. Instead, the senior pro said a win could have made them feel better ahead of the break.

A-Rod and his young army will gain some free time as they next meet the Eagles on Sunday Night Football on November 27 at Lincoln Financial Field. The hopes of a wild-card playoff are not completely down and out. At present, the 49ers are the only challenge lying ahead. But they dropped two games behind Kyle Shanahan’s men in the race.

Christian Watson earns applause after fighting effort

A lone bright spot shone magnificently in the heartbreaking defeat. Young WR Christian Watson continued his excellent form with two TD catches against the Titans. Earlier, he recorded three TD catches in the last game. Remarkably, the last Packers rookie receiver with at least 5 TD catches in a season was James Lofton. The Pro football HOF-er had six TDs in 1978.

Aaron Rodgers recorded two TDs, albeit in a losing cause. The #12 Packers seasoned QB has five TDs from his last two games. The champion is reviving, and the Packers are improving, but the fans need congruous results.
