Jordan Love will be raring to go as he may finally get a chance to be the starter for the Green Bay Packers. After spending three seasons in the shadows of Aaron Rodgers, the young QB is looking to finally stamp his authority in the NFL. But the offseason and the draft can be a tricky period. And Love might be done dirty again as a new option pops up for the Packers.

The Packers are moving on from Rodgers after being together for 18 seasons. Will they go with their backup QB to replace the future Hall of Famer or are they betting on someone entirely new?

If anyone is happy with Aaron Rodgers going away from Lambeau Field, it is Jordan Love. It is finally time for him to make a name for himself. But there may yet be a twist in the tale. According to Peter Bukowski, the Packers may look to draft QB Will Levis in the 2023 NFL draft.

“I don’t know who needs to hear this but Will Levis is 6 months younger than Jordan Love,” the host of ‘Locked On Packers’ podcast said in a tweet.

He also predicted that the Kentucky Wildcats QB is a top-15 pick. But will the Packers be interested?

“Levis looks like a lock top-15 pick. Which guy would you rather have??” Bukowski added.

The Packers picked Love as the 26th overall pick in the first round of the 2020 draft. And whenever he has got a chance, the QB has impressed many. But the prospect of picking up a fresh QB, even if just as a backup, may seem appealing to the franchise.

Is Will Levis the answer?

The Packers do need a quarterback for the future. And according to all the indications from the franchise, they are putting their faith in Jordan Love. Even the Packers CEO Brian Gutekunst has publicly stated that Love is ready to become an NFL starter.

But if the Packers do go for Will Levis in the draft, as Bokowski is urging them to, they might end up with two young QBs eager to start. And that sort of competition might be healthy for the locker room.

Levis won the 2022 Citrus Bowl with the Wildcats. He has an impressive 64.9% completion rate in college, including his two starts for Penn State. And he can be a decent QB for any team. Will the Packers actually move for him?
