Aaron Rodgers’ complement pleases Jaylon Johnson
Earlier, Rodgers gave Johnson the highest compliment, as he called the Bears CB, ‘a premier player’. After hearing such high praise from A-Rod, Johnson said, “I would just say it’s confirmation of what I believe in myself… (Having) somebody else being a believer in that, I feel like that’s not something gets thrown around lightly from him.”
Notably, Johnson had numerous battles with former Packers wide receiver Davante Adams since his rookie year. Johnson believes that he earned Rodgers’ respect because of his battles with Adams. However, he is still not convinced about being a Pro Bowler because the CB feels he has not reached that level yet.

When asked if he considers himself a Pro Bowl, the CB said, “No… just in the fact that I feel like the Pro Bowl comes from popularity. And I feel like popularity comes from making highlight plays.“
Johnson feels he has not made enough interceptions to be selected for the Pro Bowl. Notably, Johnson played three seasons with the Bears; however, he made only one interception last season against the Bengals. Moreover, the Bears are not having a great season currently. With 3 wins and 10 losses, they have one of the worst records in the league.
Last Sunday, Aaron Rodgers played fabulously against the Bears, which got them a much-needed win. As mentioned earlier, the Bears are now officially out of playoff contention and they are looking for the next season already. On the other hand, the Packers are still hoping to qualify for the playoffs, which looks unlikely at the moment.
