What a season it’s turning out to be for Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers. The Wisconsin-based franchise is in prime position to make the NFL playoffs in 2020. They are currently on a two-game winning streak after last weekend’s win over the struggling Philadelphia Eagles.

Apart from Rodgers, another Packers player to impress in 2020 is experienced wide receiver, Davante Adams. The 27-year old has 1.029 receiving yards and 13 receiving yards to his name from just 10 games this season.

Adams has established himself as a leader at Green Bay in the locker room and off it, as well. This is precisely why veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers holds his teammate in such high regard.

Aaron Rodgers singles out teammate Davante Adams for special praise

Aaron Rodgers gave an interview earlier this week, where he spoke about talented teammate Davante Adams.

Rodgers said, “He is a phenomenal player. He is as good as they come. I wouldn’t want to throw to anybody else. I have so much love and respect for him as a person — how he carries himself, his demeanor, his competitiveness, his focus, the plays that he makes on the field, the way that he communicates with me, the respect that he shows me, the respect that he earns from myself and our team every single day.”

“He is one of a kind. Very unique player, unique person, and I am so thankful to have him on our squad. I have his back 100 percent in everything that he does and says. He’s a man of his word, he’s a man of high integrity and high class. And I’m better because of him — as a person and as a quarterback,” Rodgers said via Jason Wilde of the Wisconsin State Journal.

Rodgers and Adams will face-off against NFC North opponents Detroit Lions in Week 14. The first time these two teams met earlier this year, it was the Packers who emerged victorious. Rodgers and Adams were spectacular in that 42-21 win. Can they repeat the same display on Sunday? Tune in to find out.
