The quarterback said, “We’ve been in a good rhythm, practice, energy uh cohesion and then playing a little bit better complimentary football wasn’t perfect but that’s a good football team and they had a lot to play for so that’s a good win for us.” Complimentary football, by the definition, is when the offense, defense, and special teams perform in perfect harmony to execute plays on the field. Additionally, the quarterback spoke about the shortcomings they had in the scope for improvement.
Rodgers chasing perfection
While the veteran spoke about the team playing well, he also stressed upon the mistakes they committed. Despite the win, the quarterback spoke about the shortcomings the team had. Being ever the perfectionist, Rodgers pointed out several moments in the game where he felt like the Packers could have done better. However, he gives credit where credit is due. During the interview, the QB said, “We had a couple conversions and I uh you know PT you had a nice catch and run for us,” praising Patrick Taylor Jr. Just like during this game, he also praised Keisean Nixon for his antiques against the Rams.
With the games going Rodgers’ way, the Packers are playing exceptionally well. However, only time will tell if the Packers’ effort will be enough for them to make it to the playoffs.
