The veteran and elite quarterbacks of the league did not have a fruitful time this season. One of them was the starting quarterback of the Green Bay Packers. Aaron Rodgers ended his season by losing against the Detroit Lions. Since then, there have been various kinds of rumors about what the back-to-back MVP winner will do next. Will he retire from the sport or will the Packers trade him to some other team?
The most suitable spot for the former Super Bowl winner was New York Jets. A-Rod would want to go to a team that is only a quarterback away from winning a Super Bowl title. Also, after the team benched their QB, Zach Wilson, people thought they would certainly consider the ten-time Pro Bowler. But the San Francisco 49ers also became a potential landing spot for Rodgers after their young QB, Brock Purdy, injured his wrist.

The star signal-caller always wanted to end up with the 49ers when he was a college student as he supported them in his childhood. Additionally, he grew up in California, therefore; it is understandable that he desired to play with and for San Francisco. However, it looks like the future Hall of Fame quarterback has no interest in the 49ers.
The 39-year-old took part in the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am golf tournament. When he was getting ready to tee off, he was asked if he wanted to share something. Rodgers straightforwardly said, “I’m not going to San Fran.”

Even though the Niner chose Alex Smith over Rodgers in the 2005 Draft, it looks like he holds no ill feelings toward them. If the star QB would have joined the Niners’ roster, they would have become a serious Super Bowl contender considering they possess all the skills and talents. They advanced to the playoffs but because they did not have a reliable QB; they lost the game against the Eagles miserably. Hence, the team could have benefitted from bringing a tough and trustworthy QB like Rodgers.

But Green Bay experienced its first losing season since 2018, he completed only 64.6 percent of his pass attempts for just 3,695 yards, 26 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions.
