The Green Bay and Aaron Rodgers are at loggerheads. The franchise which drafted the QB back in 2005 is at risk of losing its star player thanks to some questionable decision making on their end over the past few years.

Not providing Rodgers elite offensive weapons through the draft, not paying heed to his opinions, and even going as far as to drafting his replacement Jordan Love in 2020, the Packers front office really have dug a hole for themselves.

After reports first surfaced of his desire to leave the franchise, many questioned whether it was really Rodgers’ relationship with the Green Bay Packers front office that pushed him to the point of wanting to leave the franchise.

Some said it was about the money he was being paid. While others thought it was the style of football being played at Green Bay. But as per NFL insider Adam Schefter, it’s clearly not about the money.

Schefter reported that Aaron Rodgers turned down a bumper two-year contract which would’ve made him the highest-paid athlete in the league. And NFL analyst Stephen A. Smith couldn’t help but reiterate the point he’s been saying for months. Aaron Rodgers’ beef is with the Packers front office and no one else.

Shailene Woodley retweets Stephen A. Smith’s video on Aaron Rodgers

During a segment of First Take, Smith went ballistic over how people were still speculating that Aaron Rodgers was unhappy with the money he was getting at Green Bay.

Smith said that the quarterback was clearly miffed with the Green Bay Packers front office. And if anyone needed any more proof as to why Aaron Rodgers wants to leave, one wouldn’t have to look any further than Shailene Woodley’s Twitter account.

What happens next remains to be seen. The Green Bay Packers are adamant about holding on to Aaron Rodgers after his stellar 2020 campaign. But it seems that despite their best efforts, convincing him to come back might no longer be in their hands.
