The life of Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has been far from easy, both on and off the football field. Despite individual success on the field, the Packers’ QB struggles to maintain or keep harmony within his relationships. Among the few who have been close to Rodgers in the past is Hollywood actress and ex-girlfriend Olivia Munn.

Both Munn and Rodgers were in a relationship with each other in 2014, and Munn got a chance to see the family dynamics within the Rodgers household. The pair parted ways after almost 3 years together, and it was a shock to the system of many Rodgers fans. Almost a year after their split, Munn was open in talking about the problems between Rodgers and his family.
During her 2018 appearance on the SiriusXM series and talking to Andy Cohen, Munn states, “I do believe that family and fame and success can be really complicated if their dreams are connected to your success. I don’t think either side of the road is clean, but I do think it’s not OK when you try to stand on someone’s shoulders and then throw dirt in their face, which is what I think they did with him.”
Is Aaron Rodgers a victim of his success?
The statements from Munn seem to suggest that the problems in the Rodgers household have two guilty parties. While Rodgers has remained distant from his family over the years, it has put strains on their relationship. But it appears to have due reasons, with Munn hinting that his family was capitalizing on his professional success.
The comments from Munn are surprising as they come following her public split because of the rocky situations within the relationship. A big reason for her support could be her disdain for Rodgers’ family, who were not fond of her.
They considered throughout their relationship that Munn was quite controlling of the Packers‘ QB.
