It was an important game for the Dallas Cowboys and it was even more crucial for them to come out of the game as the champions. But it feels like the curse finally stuck this year as well, which made Jerry Jones’ lot fall in front of the San Francisco 49ers. They lost in a divisional round yet again. Many fans and celebrities were reacting to the game. One such was Aaron Rodgers’ former love interest, Danica Patrick.
Patrick uploaded a meme on her official Instagram account. The meme showed an unsatisfied Jones in Brett Maher, the team’s kicker’s jersey. And seeing how the last two games went for the veteran kicker, it looked like a jab thrown at Jones.

Can’t blame Jerry Jones over Maher’s mistakes!
When the 33-year-old played against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, his kicking ability was dreadful. Against the Bucs, he became the first-ever kicker in the league’s history to miss four extra points. The trouble bled into the playoff game as well.
Maher’s first extra point try of the day was blocked after Dalton Schultz scored the game’s first touchdown in the second quarter. It appeared as though the kick was going to miss wide left, even if the Niners got a hand on it.

Despite Maher’s illustrious problems, the Cowboys sent him out for a 25-yard field goal in the third quarter after he failed on third-and-goal. Maher’s shot missed the uprights, tying the score at nine. With roughly 11 minutes remaining and Dallas behind 16-9, he subsequently attempted a 43-yard field goal, which went well.

Before the big game, during the warm-ups, he struggled to make kicks. Maher missed a 43-yarder that was about 20 feet wide right after missing twice from a shorter distance. Then he missed two and also another wide right. Seeing him struggle, Jones talked to him and gave him a pep talk. But all that pep talk and hopes did not bring any result as Dallas lost.
