Aaron Rodgers has always been somewhat of an enigma off the field. The quarterback has a carefully cultivated image of him being a little different as compared to his contemporaries. He has admitted to taking psychedelic drugs and has openly spoken about life, death, and seeing the other side. There is nothing normal about the quarterback. Additionally, after winning their most recent game against last year’s Super Bowl champions, Rodgers spoke about his alternative to Monday Night Football as an ‘old man’ quarterback.
When asked by the media if he was a little subdued, Rodgers spoke about how he might be a little too tired at night. A-Rod spoke about how he’d wish that the games were in the afternoon.

Rookie’s expectations vs Veteran’s desire
Aaron Rodgers had also spoken about the expectation he had as a young player to play MNF. In contrast, he mentioned the difference in the thought process as he has now become a little bit older and said, “it’s been a long day Monday nights you know when you’re a young player you dream about playing Monday nights when you’re an older player you want those noon games.”
Evidently, Monday night or Monday afternoon, Rodgers showed up and played hard for the Packers with the win. The time of the day clearly did not bother him on the field against the Rams. With a 2-game win streak, it will be interesting to see where the Packers’ season heads after this.
