When it comes to NFL quarterbacks, few can match the achievements of Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady. Both of them have earned multiple MVP awards, Super Bowl rings, and Pro Bowl nods throughout their illustrious careers. Not only that, but they have also competed against each other in five thrilling games, with Brady having a slight edge of 3-2 over Rodgers.
Rodgers is still a top-tier quarterback who has a lot of talent around him on the Jets. That’s why some people believe he can follow in Brady’s footsteps and win the Super Bowl with his new team. On the other hand, others may contend that Rodgers and Brady are not comparable and that it is unrealistic to expect Rodgers to match Brady’s feat with a different team. However, there is a surprising road map that a Fox Sports analyst revealed, which shows how the Jets can emulate what the Bucs did with Brady and win the ultimate prize.

Recently discussions with Emmanuel Acho, a Fox Sports analyst, show NFL world can’t leave Tom Brady behind even after retirement, using Aaron Rodgers as a point of comparison. Acho pointed out that when he considers Rodgers joining the Jets and Brady joining the Buccaneers at this particular time, he realizes something important. Rodgers will have a strong defense with players like Quinton Williams on the defensive line, similar to how the Buccaneers had Vita Vea, an incredible defensive lineman. Rodgers will also have CJ Mosley as a linebacker, just like the Buccaneers had Lavonte David and Devin White in their linebacker room.
“When I look at Aaron Rodgers joining the Jets and I look at Tom Brady joining the Bucs at this Junction in time I say to myself ‘wait a second… that should happen.’” Per his prediction, Acho is expecting the same winning streak for the Jets, “I’m expecting the same thing”
Additionally, Rodgers will have a promising young cornerback in Sauce Gardner, reminiscent of the Buccaneers having a young quarterback in Antoine Winfield, and their secondary being entirely young. Acho mentions that when looking at the overall makeup of the team, there are similarities between Rodgers’ situation with the Jets and Brady’s situation with the Buccaneers.

The Jets luckily have more parallels to the Buccaneers
Acho then goes on to discuss the running back situation. He mentions that at this point in time, the Jets have Breece Hall, a talented running back. Comparatively, the Buccaneers were still figuring out their running back situation. Moving on to the wide receiver room, Acho notes that at this juncture, the Jets have Garrett Wilson, a rookie out of Ohio State who is expected to have a great year.

Meanwhile, the Buccaneers had Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, but they didn’t have Antonio Brown at this point in time. Acho concludes by expressing his expectation that Aaron Rodgers’ situation with the Jets will mirror Tom Brady’s experience with the Buccaneers. It is such an interesting point for the Jets to listen to, but will they really execute similarly?
