New York Jets have started practice sessions at Atlantic Health Jets Training Center. Players reported on July 19th, and the practice began on the 20th. During their practice session on July 30th, NFL Reporter Peter Schrager got a chance to speak to the Jet’s newest QB Aaron Rodgers for the NFL Total Access program.
In the interview, Rodgers spoke about his involvement with the team, team chemistry and leadership, and offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett. In a light-hearted conversation, he also told Peter about his interest in movies and his favorite Christopher Nolan movie, and it’s not Oppenheimer.

Rodgers is excited to be in New York and the Jets camp. He emphasized the importance of team chemistry and leadership in preparing for the preseason events. Rodgers told Peter about his take on Barbie vs. Oppenheimer ($100 million budget) battle while revealing his favorite Nolan movie.

Peter: Have you seen Barbie or Oppenheimer, in a dual Barbie Heimer yet?
Aaron: I have not. I heard about uh you know there’s some stuff going on. The atom bomb going on during some parts of the movie, haven’t seen it. But I’ve seen, I’ve seen Oppenheimer. Yeah loved it.
He then went on to reveal his favorite Nolan movie.
Aaron: “I’ll tell you what my favorite Christopher Nolan movie though is, The Prestige. Christian Bale, Hugh Jackman, Scarlett Johansson, Michael Kane, fantastic movie. I’ve seen it like 50 times. I love that movie, I love it.”

He also talked about the Back to the Future franchise. Rodgers prefers the first part to be better than others, followed by the third part and the second. He also talked about his involvement with the team and other issues.
Rodgers excited to be at Jets camp
The Jets are preparing for the preseason, using it to develop their chemistry and teamwork. Rodgers plays a big role in it. His recent contract restructuring demonstrates his commitment to the team’s success and desire to compete for championships. Recently, he had shown his dissent over the Hard Knocks series, fearing it might disturb the team preparation. This time, he is willing to play the role of a leader and team mentor. Later in the interview, he defended Coach Nathaniel Hackett amid controversy and praised him for creating a positive atmosphere within the camp.

These practice sessions are open to fans. They will be broadcasted live on their official website, along with commentaries and evaluations. But right now, Rodgers is dead set on his training and his goal, another Super Bowl.
