David Bakhtiari is officially in the ‘sign my baby’ phase now, per his Instagram story. Bakhtiari posted a picture of him signing a baby’s t-shirt while the mother held the child. The picture was of him at Lambeau Field with fellow teammates from the Green Bay Packers. The Packers’ offensive is knowingly or unknowingly emulating the Dallas Cowboys owner, Jerry Jones.
Jerry Jones is very popular amongst the Texans and Cowboys fans love him. He often visits the Cowboys training camp. On one such visit, he was signing t-shirts and handing out autographs. Moreover, he also signed a baby’s jersey, and it became an adorable moment.

Consequently, Bakhtiari also signed a jersey worn by a baby to the Lambeau Field. David shared the adorable moment on his Instagram saying that he is in his sign my baby phase. It seemed to be a light-hearted joke meant for joy and entertainment.
In addition, Bakhtiari is in recovery after being put on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list. Although he is expected to be back before the season begins, it is a cause of concern for the rest of the team. After all, he is their start LT.
David Bakhtiari on the PUP list means more trouble for Green Bay Packers?
In 2021, Bakhtiari missed the first ten weeks after being put on the PUP list. Moreover, the Packers did not bring him back until the team’s final regular-season game. DB played 20 snaps in that match-up, but became inactive during the Packers’ playoff loss to the San Francisco 49ers.

Earlier in the offseason, speaking about Bakhtiari participating in the camp, Matt LaFleur said, “Time will tell. We fully anticipate him being ready to go, but, you know, we did last year as well. I think time will tell. We feel good about the work he’s put in and where he’s at.”
The picture shared by David Bakhtiari is extremely adorable and certain comparisons with Jerry Jones’ gesture of signing a baby’s jersey can certainly be drawn. All things aside, Bakhtiari would be eager to get off the PUP list and join the Packers back for the regular season games.
