One NFL analyst lauded both Donald and Watt as the 2 best defensive players of this generation.
Aaron Donald imo shouldn't take away from how great JJ Watt was.
Generational players are supposed to come along once in a generation. We just happened to get two of them enter the league within 3 years of each other.
They're 2 of the top 10 defensive players to ever suit up.

Notably, both Donald and Watt won the Defensive Player of The Year three times in their career. Watt was the NFL’s sacks leader two times in his career; whereas Donald has that award only once in his career. Apart from that, both of these players won multiple accolades during their NFL careers. Unfortunately, Watt is leaving the NFL on a high note; however, Donald is continuing, as he is 2 years younger than Watt.
