Tom Brady knows that his future in the league is one of the biggest topics of discourse in the NFL world. The seven-time Super Bowl champ has been as forthcoming as an inanimate object with regard to where he’s headed.
While the QB may have bigger fish to fry at the moment, the dawn of the postseason has brought about many rumors. The QB may have developed a bait radar after more than two decades in the league. TB12 did not budge an inch when he was directly and indirectly questioned.

TB12 took to his Instagram story while wearing a Tampa Bay creamsicle throwback jersey. Now, would it be a far stretch to assume that the jersey is a significant indicator of Brady’s desire to stay with the Bucs? Perhaps. The QB firmly squashed any rumors that may spring out of the trivial picture by mentioning that it was a gift.
Brady stated that the jersey was a gift from Tampa Bay legend and former Bucs QB Doug Williams. He said, “It’s pretty sweet. There’s a good picture of Ronde (Barber) in the hallway wearing it. It looks pretty good. It was a gift from Doug Williams. I loved it. It’s a great-looking jersey.”
The QB was all smiles as he gushed about the gift. But, the NFL world will not be privy to any hints about TB12’s future, especially after he firmly shut down another reporter’s direct question.

Brady will be focused on the most pressing matters
Brady has been vocal about his frustrations. The 45-year-old is well aware that he is on the other side of the age spectrum in the league. But that has not deterred the QB. With retirement still an option but a seemingly distant one, the football world will want to know where the QB is headed. Talk of TB12’s potential move to the Las Vegas Raiders has been making its rounds.
Instead of accepting or denying, Brady put the ball in the reporter’s court. He said, “I don’t know, you guys gotta write something new every day.” While his words don’t radiate positivity, fans may have to stick with the ‘no news is good news’ mantra for a while longer. As the Bucs take on the Dallas Cowboys on Monday night, every other issue will find itself on the back burner.
