While Tom Brady is undoubtedly a legendary figure in the NFL, it comes as no surprise that the talent for sports runs deep in the family. TB12’s niece Maya Brady is seen following her famous uncle’s footsteps, as she put on a show on Sunday. The UCLA softball senior hit a home-run twice in UCLA’s 14-0 five-inning opener vs San Diego.

Furthermore, as per sources, Maya was seen going 4- for -4 in game one with four RBI’s and 3-for-4 with 3 RBIs for a 3-home run. She has now recorded 10 hits in 10 consecutive bats, to tie a program record.

Maya Brady on her way to becoming a sports star, like Tom Brady

Maya made her college debut as a freshman for UCLA Bruins in 2020. The apple certainly does not fall far from the tree, as she was named Softball American Player of the Year. Maya’s performance had a sense of similarity on Super Bowl Sunday. 

After all, her uncle is the 7-time Superbowl Champion Tom Brady. Brady was seen showing his appreciation for the outstanding performance of his niece on social media. He posted an Instagram story and wrote, “Are you kidding me @uclasoftball”, while tagging his niece. It must certainly be a proud moment for him as well, to see the next generation of stars flourishing in his family.

A scintillating career as familiar as Tom Brady’s

Maya Brady is expected to enjoy a glorious career as her uncle Tom Brady did in the NFL. She finished her freshman year with a .365 batting average. She was also leading her team with 7 home runs and tied for first with 28 RBI. During her redshirt freshman year in 2021, she averaged a .333 batting average, six stolen bases and nine multiple – RBI games. Following an outstanding season, Maya was named to the first team All- Pac-12 and NFCA first team All-American.

Furthermore, for the 2023 season, Maya has now recorded 1o consecutive hits, tying a UCLA program record also held by Stacy Nuveman and Lisa Ferandez.
