However, every lifestyle has two sides. While the world outside saw a glamor-filled life with fame and wealth, the reality was very different. Furthermore, she also said, “When I was having my panic attacks and drinking mocha Frappuccinos, smoking a pack of cigarettes a day.” The model was struggling with her mental health and it showed through her habits. The model spoke about how she gave up her unhealthy habits in a stroke of willpower. “I gave up everything in one day. I was like, ‘That’s it.’ Because I wanted to live. I choose life. I choose to smile again, to be free again,” she said via People. Gisele was able to bring about positive change through habits like meditation and yoga. She ended up making changes to her diet and implementing healthier habits like running. Slowly and steadily, she overcame her unhealthy lifestyle and replaced it with healthier alternatives.
With her self-realization and her mental prowess, the model was able to overcome her habits. She showcased to her fans and the people in her life that when one puts their mind to something, one can achieve it.
