Interestingly, Hurts has always been a star athlete since his college days. He played for three years at Alabama before relocating to Oklahoma.
During his freshman and Sophomore seasons, the youngster started games for the side. He recorded 4,861 passing yards and 40 touchdown passes. Not to mention, his rushing skills were always top-notch. He rushed for 1,809 yards and secured 21 touchdowns.

This year’s Super Bowl appearance will mark a major milestone in Hurts’ NFL career. After a 31-7 win over the San Francisco 49ers in 2017, this is the first time the Eagles have secured a playoff berth. “Well my first year here, I mean, they probably didn’t even want to draft me here. Probably one of those things, but it always handles itself,” Hurts said, per The FOX News.

“I know that it was a big surprise to many. But my favorite verse – you know, I went through a lot of stuff in college, and it kind of stuck with me,” he added. It will be interesting to see whether Hurts can sustain the Eagles’ Super Bowl legacy on Sunday.
