Aaron Rodgers is in town
Whenever Aaron Rodgers comes to Chicago, the NFL world expects him to play well. And maybe the Bears fans do too. So when he came for the week 13 showdown with the divisional rivals amid concerns about his injuries, he showed everyone why that is the case.
The struggling Packers won comfortably as Rodgers played through a double injury. But despite the nerve-breaking success, Rodgers found himself at the end of the anger of the local fans.
“Yes… A lot of middle fingers,” Rodgers said about the reaction of the Bears fans after the win. But despite the behavioral issues, the QB confessed his love for the sports scene in the city.
“You never know when it’s gonna be your last time playing at a place. I have got great moments at this place. And as much as the fans don’t really like me, I do have respect for the city of Chicago and they’re great sports fans here. This stadium, it has been a lot of fun over the years to go to battle,” he said.
A lot of love for the great city of Chicago.
