Green Bay Packers’ darling quarterback Aaron Rodgers during his most recent weekly appearance on ‘The Pat McAfee Show’ extended his support to Packers offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett who is one of the top contenders for the head coach job at the Denver Broncos.
“This is a little overdue, to be honest,” Rodgers said. “He’s been around the game a long time. What he did in Jacksonville, I think, was pure magic, getting them within a quarter of the Super Bowl. He’s a great coach. I love spending time with him. He’s a fantastic teacher. He’s incredible in front of the room.”

Nathaniel Hackett, the son of former NFL assistant coach Paul Hackett, has been a valuable employee for the Packers. He started his NFL journey with the Buccaneers as offensive quality control in 2006. After that, he went on to coach the Buffalo Bills and the Jacksonville Jaguars before landing in Green Bay.

Hackett has been with the Packers since 2019 and during his tenure, the franchise has reached the Conference Championship every single season. However, the outcome of this year is yet to be known. Furthermore, the Packers have claimed the No. 1 seed in the NFC for the past two seasons.

Hackett is believed to be the most favorite candidate out of the other men who could potentially succeed Vic Fangio as the head coach of the Denver Broncos. According to NFL Insider Adam Beasley, Denver Broncos are looking for ways to attract the Packers star Aaron Rodgers after this season. And in order to do that the Broncos would hire more of the Packers crew as possible to intrigue the QB for a move.
