According to Jason McCourty, the Packers have done a disservice to Rodgers by not fielding a top WR like Davante Adams in the team. Notably, their focus on youngsters has not gone well with the Super Bowl winner. “They have done a disservice to the team as well as Rodgers. They like the young guys they have. Give him another weapon and see what he can do,” the experienced campaigner said in a direct message to Packers.
When A-Rod and Adams parted ways this season
Initially, the Packers signed Rodgers to a three-year, $150.8 million deal. It revived hopes of a continued association with his teammate Adams. However, they traded Mr. January to the Raiders. He signed a five-year, $140 million deal with the Vegas. It made him reunite with his former Fresno State buddy, Derek Carr. However, the duo has not yet repeated their magic in the league.
Both the Packers and Raiders are struggling for wins in the new season. They already lost five games, and their playoff hopes are in limbo. Alongside Buccaneers, they are among the three most disappointing teams in the new season.
