81-Year-Old Billionaire Robert Kraft Married 47-Year-Old Doctor Without Informing Tom Brady and Other Guests

81-year-old billionaire Robert Kraft married his partner, Dr. Dana Blumberg, in New York on Friday. But it was a peculiar wedding.

The guests who attended the wedding were unaware of the real reason they were invited for. They thought they were just invited to a party by the owner of the NFL outfit, New England Patriots.

Nearly 250 people attended the wedding of Robert Kraft and Dana Blumberg. It was a star-studded affair with the likes of Tom Brady, and fellow Patriots legends, Drew Bledsoe, Randy Moss, Andre Tippett, Vince Wilfork, Richard Seymour, Ty Law, Jerod Mayo, and Troy Brown. Some members of the current Patriots squad like Devin McCourty, Matthew Slater, and David Andrews, were also present. But what all of them also had in common was that they did not knew that it was a wedding at the start of the evening.

The couple invited all the guests to a “Kickoff and a touchdown” party at the Hall des Lumières in New York City. Everyone came to know about the wedding only after reaching the party.

A 10-minute video kicked off the evening and NFL commentator, Al Michaels’ voice introduced the couple. The evening had star-studded performances from Sir Elton John, Ed Sheeran, and Meek Mill.

Brady misses practice after the wedding

The NFL game week 6 is underway and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be playing the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday Night Football. And exactly for that, the Bucs had a run-through practice on Saturday morning. Every available player of the squad attended the practice session except Tom Brady. Brady was in New York for the wedding of Robert Kraft the previous night so he decided to skip the practice and will be meeting the team in Pittsburgh itself.

It is a short time for Brady to reorient himself and take on the Steelers. But that is the only way for the Buccaneers to keep sitting in the top spot in their division. The Buccaneers are currently top of the division table with three wins in five games. They are just ahead of the New Orleans Saints who have two wins in five games going into game week 6.

The Steelers have been struggling at the start of this season. They have managed to win just one game out of the five they have played. They sit at the bottom of the AFC North table. This would be the game for the Steelers to upset Brady and the Bucs to finally kickstart their season.
