Cooper Kupp, the MVP of Super Bowl LVI, will officially run it back. After weeks of speculation, he’s confirming his future with the Los Angeles Rams. WR Kupp is an elite receiver who has been dominant throughout his career. However, the one-time Super Bowl champion reveals who he believes to be the best wideout in the league.

Cooper Kupp’s rookie contract was ending. During the 2022 offseason, fans and analysts discussed the possibility of agreeing to a new contract. This year’s receiver lagoon generated a lot of interest. Major wideouts received massive agreements and attracted a lot of attention. 2021 was a breakout year for Cooper Kupp, and him getting a new contract was inevitable.

In the most recent Madd Dogg Sports Radio, host Adam Schein asks Cooper Kupp regarding his choice for the best WR in the NFL. While Kupp had a multitude of elections, he rolled with Las Vegas Raiders’ Davante Adams.

The Super Bowl MVP mentions, “Who’s the best wide receiver in the NFL? There’s so many good ones. It’s hard to put a figure on it. um, In think you gotta go with Davante. You gotta go for Davante after what he’s able to do for such a long period of time. His consistency, All three phases, short, intermediate, down the field. He’s an incredible football player.”

Davante Adams is undoubtedly among the league’s most historic receivers. His chemistry alongside Aaron Rodgers in Green Bay was enjoyable. He is now a Raider and is ready to set the bar high alongside Derek Carr.

How big is the contract of Cooper Kupp?

Cooper Kupp, after an incredible 2021 season, merits being among the highest-paid receivers in the league. He had the most snaps (145), yards receiving (1,947), and touchdown receptions (16). Although, in April, Kupp had no intention of becoming the league’s highest-paid wideout. The Rams took full advantage of that fact.

WR Kupp and the Rams have reportedly agreed to a three-year, $80 million contract renewal, which would bring his gross compensation to $110 million within the next five years. Moreover, the Rams included a $75 million guarantee in the contract. Cooper Kupp now has the highest guarantee of any wideout or non-QB offensive player.
