But Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys have yet again etched history. The Cowboys are the most valued NFL franchise. But the NFL Universe has their beautiful minds on work as they make crazy jokes about it.

The Dallas Cowboys have remained the ‘Head of the Table’ for the 16th straight year in valuations. Inevitably, they have had the silver trophy drought for over two decades. But they stand more valuable than the Patriots, Rams, Giants, and Bears.

Despite such a big jump in valuation on the Forbes list, NFL fans ridicule the Dallas Cowboys for not clinching a Super Bowl all these years.

A Business Mogul once bailed on purchasing the Dallas Cowboys

Oil tycoon Jerry Jones purchased the Cowboys in 1989, and they have since risen to become the world’s largest sports franchise. But according to Mirror.co.uk, Clint Murchison Jr, the Cowboys’ founding owner, was in negotiations with Donald Trump in 1984 to buy the franchise for $50 million. Trump balked and got his hands on the New Jersey Generals of the USFL for $10 million.

Former POTUS stated in an interview conducted by the New York Times in 1984, “I feel sorry for the poor guy who is going to buy the Dallas Cowboys. It’s a no-win situation for him, because if he wins, well, so what, they’ve won through the years, and if he loses, which seems likely because they’re having troubles, he’ll be known to the world as a loser.” 

But Trump’s prediction had a twist of fate, and Jerry Jones will now have the last laugh.
