There came a time when Mark Davis, owner of the Las Vegas Raiders, had no option but to part ways with his favorite coach, Jon Gruden. Gruden had to resign following the release of his improper emails as a result of an NFL investigation. Davis hired former Denver Broncos coach Josh McDaniels after Gruden departed the Raiders.
Tyler Polumbus, the veteran offensive tackle from the Denver Broncos, posted on Twitter regarding his experience with McDaniels. Polumbus concluded his tweet by noting that despite his football skills, McDaniels failed to handle people effectively, which is something the Raiders’ head coach claims to have learned by now.

“Josh knew the X’s and O’s as well as any coach I’ve been around. You won’t hear any former players saying he doesn’t know football. He just didn’t know how to handle people,” he said.
Polumbus revealed things about McDaniels’ tenure with the Broncos
With Raiders, Josh McDaniels is having his 2nd innings as a head coach. The previous one, with the Broncos, did not even survive two seasons before being sacked! Tyler Polumbus played for the Broncos in 2008, 2009, and 2015.

On Thursday, he revealed some wild experiences regarding the Raiders’ current head coach on Twitter. McDaniels traded Broncos pro bowler Jay Cutler, who expected to lead the Broncos to the Super Bowl win before Peyton Manning. Culter then went on to accuse McDaniels of handling the issue improperly.
Polumbus wrote about how McDaniels reacted to the trade after it happened. “Fellas don’t worry about the QB situation. I can turn a HS QB into an All Pro.” McDaniels brought in Kyle Orton to succeed Cutler, but that strategy did not quite work out for the Broncos.
The Raiders are desperate for a win under Josh McDaniels
However, the NFL veteran did not stop there! He went on to reveal some more shocking information regarding the Raiders’ coach. Like how McDaniels used to berate players and coaches for mistakes made in the prior day’s practice.

He also discussed McDaniel’s preoccupation with slogans and how he used to tease the players into remembering them!

With the Raiders being the only club in the NFL with a 0-3 record, head coach McDaniels has been dubbed a ‘splashy hire!’

The Las Vegas Raiders will face the Denver Broncos in Week 4 at Allegiant stadium. With the Raiders’ performance and now Polumbus’ revelation, McDaniels must work extra hard to lead the Raiders to their first victory of the season next week.
