Whether you’re a multi-million dollar NFL star or just a regular person, true friends treat you exactly the same. So is the case with the Chiefs’ star Patrick Mahomes. In an interview with Jimmy Kimmel, Mahomes revealed that his middle school friends do not even let him pay when they’re out together despite him being an NFL star.
Patrick Mahomes revealed that while on a bachelor trip to Nashville, Tennessee, his friends did not even let him pay for anything. The Chiefs’ QB understood why his friends never let him pay for anything. Moreover, Mahomes had a blast at the party in the music and festival state of the US.

Speaking to Kimmel, the 26-year-old said, “I do try sometimes but they get real mad if I do. They’re cool like that. They don’t wanna seem like they’re using me now that I’m in NFL. They wanna treat me exactly the same like back when we were in middle school together.”
The Super Bowl-winning QB also told about his disguise in Nashville that would let him have his fun in peace. He told that he had the Cowboy hat on to stop people from recognizing him in the music city. The disguise was successful and Mahomes said that he had a wonderful time over there.

The QB is getting used to the fact that his star WR Tyreek Hill has left the Chiefs camp. He got traded to the Miami Dolphins where he is pairing up with the QB Tua Tagovailoa. Moreover, Mahomes is left with the reserve WR who will have to create new chemistry with Mahomes to repeat the magic created by the previous QB/WR duo.

As the season is about to begin, Mahomes is also eagerly waiting for his second child. The QB’s first child, Sterling Mahomes is already the star of his eyes and Mahomes has elder sister duties ready for her.
All in all, Mahomes revealed the adorable gesture of his middle school friends who do not let him pay anytime when they’re out. They get mad when the $503 million net worth man tries to pay so the QB has left the matter in his friends’ hands.
