Another person pointed out the casual conversation and how laidback things used to be back in the day.
People are missing the point, focusing on the cool truck. The point is how casual and laid back things used to be. Nowadays, a player of Bradshaw's level would show up with an entourage, in an Escalade with tinted windows, etc, driven by a chauffeur.

Notably, the video was from 1972, as one fan made a detailed analysis of the car he drove.
All you people on this thread in amazement that he drove an old truck realize this was in 1972 and that f100 body style was the same between 70 and 72 right? It was an old truck just probably 1-2 years old

One person compared the lifestyle between the old generation and today’s generation.
Maybe the reason the fans felt more of a connection to players in the NFL in 1972 is because they drove the same cars and trucks as their fans. Today they're all in Maybachs and Bentleys

Cool to see old time athletes that were real people, so much easier to relate to these guys than today's players.
