San Francisco 49ers put on a show against the Green Bay Packers as Jimmy Garoppolo went full throttle, but failed to produce results. The match was very close and in the end; it was the competitiveness of Aaron Rodgers that sealed them the victory by 28-30.
Niners head coach now has to reassess his lineup to make amends in his gameplay approach, but when asked about the quarterback’s performance during the game, he replied, “I thought Jimmy played real well tonight.”

With two wins in a row, the Packers are on their way to build a winning mentality and with Aaron Rodgers back in his form; the Packers look brutal than ever. However, Jimmy still managed to give an on-par competition to him.
Jimmy completed 25 passes out of 40 attempts, covering 257 yards with two touchdowns and an interception. Rodgers hurled 23 successful passes out of 33 attempts covering 261 yards with two touchdowns and zero interceptions.
“You always worry with Aaron on the other side,” Shanahan said after the game. “That’s why we didn’t use any timeouts. We wanted to take it down. Hell of an effort by Juszczyk to get it in. I think [Garoppolo] hit the last guy in the progression and it was a hell of an effort after the catch.” (H/T Niners Nation)

A close encounter between the Niners and the Packers
At the end of the game, when Green Bay was trailing the Niners by one point, the guests sealed their victory with just 34 seconds in the timer. Jimmy’s efforts were clearly visible on the field as well as on his stats. But the defense failed to hold on to the Packers for a few more seconds.
Kyle will make a few necessary changes to the lineup to bring fruitful results next week, but one thing is for sure; the quarterback spot will be reserved for Jimmy only.
