NFL franchise San Francisco 49ers TE Nick Bosa was in the least not holding back against the Dallas Cowboys fans. The 49ers did easily defeat the Cowboys who did mount a late resurgence which went in vain. Though the TE Bosa didn’t play the whole game, leaving the NFC Wild Card Game after a scary collision with fellow defensive lineman D.J. Jones. He did suffer a concussion in the game, but the 49ers’ TE was fit enough to throw shade on the Cowboy Nation.

The game was played at the AT&T Stadium, which was the home of the Dallas Cowboys. The Cowboy Nation was visibly distraught as once again dreams of going to the Super Bowl went up in smoke.
The 24-year-old did rub salt into the wounds of the reeling Dallas fans by putting up an Instagram post stating, “49ers = America’s Team.” It was a crisp yet slow burn on a team that arguably was the better team from a talent point of view.

Dallas Cowboys: Disappointing Once Again
The nickname of the Dallas Cowboys “America’s Team” does find its origins in 1978 in a Cowboys highlight film. The term did come to life after narrator John Facenda did mention the term following their constant appearance on TV sets. The team was in the 1980s synonymous with excellence on the football field and players with very famous personalities off the field.

The current iteration of the Dallas Cowboys is a shadow of their past counterparts in terms of on-field performance. The team hasn’t been to the Super Bowl since the 1995 campaign. They even have been failing each year to reach the NFC Championship game since that season. The Cowboy Nation has been waiting every year since patiently to get to the NFL’s Premier Event. The team has either been missing players or too weak to mount a serious challenge for silverware.

The memories and elation of the 1995 Super Bowl victory are slowly disappearing and in-process breaking their delusions of grandeur. The team possesses one of the most talented rosters in all of the NFL. But constant failures year after year to make any progress to getting back to their glory years only increase the pain of Cowboys fans.
