For a professional sports fan, it does not matter which athlete they like. It all comes down to one thing: retirement. Tom Brady once shook the entire NFL Universe after he declared his retirement from professional football. Despite being 45, many thought it was too soon for the GOAT to hang up his cleats. But the turf has some magic. This is something that does not keep an athlete away. Tampa Tom announces his un-retirement after 40 days and will now make a run for the Lombardi.
The superstar striker appeared on the GOAL Podcast ‘All of US: The U.S. Women’s Soccer Show.’ During the episode, the host questioned Carli Lloyd’s decision to retire. However, co-host Seth Vertelney included a point in the question that compared her to Tom Brady, 45, who continues to prosper.
Carli Lloyd mentions via Goal.com, “Well, Tom Brady doesn’t have to have kids. That’s the one thing for starters. My husband, Brian, and I are eventually going to start a family, so the clock’s kind of ticking on that.”

Brady mentions, “Hey Carli, congratulations. I want to congratulate you on an incredible career. You’ve played 17 amazing seasons professionally, and your career is truly legendary. Enjoy your retirement, take care, and best of luck in the future.” Lloyd retired at 39, an advanced age for a pro athlete. However, she prioritized her family over the sport. But Brady is a one-of-a-kind athlete who returned from retirement with a lofty goal in mind — to win his eighth Lombardi Trophy.
