Kansas City Chiefs signal-caller Patrick Mahomes has made quite a name for himself among the best quarterbacks in the league. In his five-year football career, the athlete has a few eye-opening accomplishments to his name. Analysts have compared Mahomes’ performances with many NFL legends. They made one such comparison between former QB Aikman and Chiefs QB Mahomes.
In 2019, The Atlantic Kansas City posted a tweet with the caption, “ICYMI: Patrick Mahomes has thrown 36% of Troy Aikman’s career touchdowns, in about 8% of the games.” Well, Aikman is one such quarterback that has an unusual record of never passing over 23 touchdown passes in a season.

Aikman reminded everyone that he has Super Bowl rings, but Patrick Mahomes doesn’t. The NFL fans took note of it, and when Mahomes won his first Super Bowl title in 2020, they found a chance to roast Troy Aikman.
