Pro Football Hall Of Famer and former Denver Broncos tight end Shannon Sharpe got a royal greeting on his special day by NBA superstar LeBron James. ‘King’ James is one of the few NBA players that Sharpe has been enamored with over the years. The former was kind enough to wish the FS1 analyst on the day of his 54th birthday on social media in his way.

The 4-time NBA champion took to Instagram and was sharing the hilarious moments that Sharpe gave NFL fans throughout his career. James and Sharpe have excellent relations and were also seen together on certain occasions, meeting with each other. Apart from James, wishes also poured in for the Broncos TE as all the NFL fans reminisce about some of his top performances.

Since his departure from the league in 2003, Sharpe is busy putting on a show with fellow analyst Skip Bayless on FS1 Undisputed Show. The dynamic duo complements each other well and they are going strong since 2016. However, the 3-time Super Bowl champion also enjoyed a Hall Of Fame career while going down as one of the very best ever in his position.

The legendary TE was a stunning success at Savannah State while playing in the Division II program. However, his feats went under the radar of many NFL franchises, making him a top draft prospect in the 1990 NFL Draft. But, it was the Denver Broncos, who chose him in the 7th round, and it seems to be a gamble that ended up paying off with unimaginable success.

After taking some time to settle in, Sharpe was unstoppable at times during the 1992 NFL season. His performances between 1992 and 1998 eventually earned him 7 consecutive Pro Bowls and 5 All-Pro selections.

He also won back-to-back Super Bowl titles in the 1997 and 1998 campaigns and another title with the Baltimore Ravens in 2000.

Sharpe ended up retiring in 2003 after an illustrious NFL career. He remains an icon famed for his reliability in the big moments and durability over the years. While he enters another year of health and great wealth, he continues to enthrall NFL fans with his wild and hilarious conversations every week.
