3x Super Bowl Champ Believes Tom Brady’s Giant Comeback A Byproduct Of Saints RB’s “Mistakes”

Tom Brady broke the internet with the Brady masterclass in the Bucs’ comeback win against the Saints on Monday night. In the process, Brady won the crown for the QB with the most comeback wins in the NFL. He surpassed legendary quarterback Peyton Manning in achieving this feat. The Bucs beat the Saints by just one point. 

Shannon Sharpe and Skip Bayless broke the game down play for play on their famous NFL show, undisputed. While Tom Brady has won hearts all over for this showing, Shannon Sharpe thinks this win wouldn’t have been possible without Mark Ingram’s performance.

The 3 time Super Bowl champion, Sharpe was teammates with Peyton Manning during their time with the Denver Broncos. On his episode along with Skip Bayless, the former tight end acknowledged the Bucs’ performance as they came out on top in a thriller finish.

He also alluded to the errors the Saints made in the process for the Bucs to win. “Give the Bucs some credit, the defense some credit for keeping the New Orleans Saints out of the end zone. But it was the mistakes and you saw the mistakes and it started early,” said Sharpe.

The Saints running back Mark Ingram made an error that left Sharpe in splits. In the fourth quarter, Ingram failed to get a crucial first down in the fourth quarter. Just a few moments after, The Bucs’ QB gained possession and went on a streak to complete two touchdowns with less than four minutes on the clock. This led to the Buccaneers’ win.

I just want to show the people at home the mistakes that led Tom Brady being able to do what he did,” said an animated Sharpe as he cited Ingram’s rookie mistake. He continued his rant as he went on screaming in the studio about Ingram’s incompetency. “Look at this. All Mark Ingram has to do is get the first down. He runs out of bounds a yard short!!. Mark Ingrammm Whaaat are you doing?”
