The NBA All-Star Weekend is in full effect. It is an extravaganza of exciting basketball events held in the middle of February every year. One of the biggest things during the festival is the dunk contest. The Cowboys defense star Myles Garrett wants a piece of that action. 

The Cleveland Browns’ defensive end had an impressive showing in the All-Stars Celebrity game. After making some hoops last night, Garrett is confident that he can do some damage in the dunk contest. The Browns defensive star, destroying hoops, will be an astonishing sight to see.

Myles Garrett entered the Wolstein Center with a mission. The 26-year-old beefcake was the biggest man on the court last night. But it was impressive to see how agile he was during the game. The big man claimed that he would at least make two or three dunks in the celebrity game. And he did just that.

The DE was playing for Team Nique. Hall of Famer Dominique Wilkins coached the squad. He daunted a number 95 jersey. They took on Hall of Famer Bill Walton coached Team Walton. Team Walton took home the win as Nique’s side fell 65-51 to them.

Despite the loss, the Browns star stole the show. He had a double-double with 13 points and eight rebounds. He was so close to scoring the 30 points which he had promised before the game. 

“I promised 30, and I didn’t get it,” said Myles. “But I was trying to get everybody involved in the game, and it’s about having fun.”

Garrett wants to destroy the dunk contest next year

Myles Garrett was nothing short of spectacular last night during the celebrity All-Stars game. He practically had MGK shut down. Garrett showed everyone that he is a defensive star regardless of the sport. Early on in the game, he showed some great defense. On top of that, he scored some amazing baskets.

With a performance like that, Garrett is confident he can do well in the dunk contest. After the game, the Browns defensive end tweeted, “Y’all can sign me up for next years dunk contest.” Some might argue that this is a bold statement by Myles, while others believe he can do it. Even after his side lost, everyone will remember Garrett’s performance.
