Tom Brady is regarded as the greatest of all time and someone fans don’t expect to make mistakes. However, even the GOAT can make minor slip-ups and the consequences have to be borne by him. Similarly, one such slip-up has drawn the attention of a 3x national sportswriter of the year and he lashes out at Brady. The Miami Dolphins were at the helm of the controversy.

The revered sportswriter Peter King was not happy with what Brady did with the Miami Dolphins in 2019. During this time, the NFL GOAT was still playing for the New England Patriots. Moreover, the Dolphins had impermissible communication with the single caller and it led to a severe penalty on the team.
Brady and the Dolphins continued their negotiations while the QB was a part of the Buccaneers as well. Lashing out at the 45-year-old, King said, “This makes Tom Brady look bad, obviously, like it’s OK for him to play by a different set of rules because he’s Tom Brady.”
He added, “Maybe he knew this was coming, and that’s why he’s had one press availability in training camp, and none since this news came down Tuesday. Whenever he does speak, this is going to be very hard to justify in any way.”

Following the controversy, the Dolphins have been stripped of two premium draft picks for tampering with Tom Brady. Miami was forced to give up its first-round pick in 2023 and a third-round selection in 2024. This is certainly painful for the management but Peter King has targeted the 7x Super Bowl-winning champion for being a party to the controversy.

As Brady remains unpunished, he is embracing the start of his 23rd season in the NFL. Building a strong team is backed by the desire to win another Super Bowl with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The legend wants to rake up the number of rings to eight.
Peter King is not happy with the Bucs QB, evidently. He is going all out in an attempt to point out the wrongs Brady committed while he was with the Patriots and additionally with the Buccaneers. The GOAT goes unpunished and would hope that he makes this free pass count.
