Patrick Mahomes is on course for a third Super Bowl appearance in four years. He is currently locked-in for the playoffs as he finishes the regular season on Saturday. But just 36 days before the big game, the explosive QB has earned a special invite from ‘Happy Days’ actor Henry Winkler. And there is a huge reason behind it.
Winkler is a huge Mahomes admirer and the two have interacted on various occasions. The current invite is like a stamp on the bromance that the two share.
A special invitation for Patrick Mahomes

Actor Henry Winkler has invited Patrick Mahomes for a special dinner. According to TMZ Sports, the Kansas City Chiefs QB has accepted the invitation. But there is still time before the duo break bread together as Winkler wants to discuss something huge on the table. Mahomes’ second Super Bowl ring.
Winkler first singled out Mahomes during his appearance on the ‘Rich Eisen Show’, where he called the QB “one of my heroes”. A few months later, the QB invited the actor as special guest in the Chiefs’ clash with the Los Angeles Chargers. The 2020 Super Bowl champion gifted Winkler a signed jersey before the game. And now, this dinner.

But the dinner will have to wait a bit as Winkler doesn’t want to disturb Mahomes during the season. So, the two will meet after the Super Bowl, which Winkler hopes the QB will win. Mahomes has clinched the division and the Chiefs might get home field advantage in the playoffs. While that depends on a decision by the NFL, the Chiefs depend on Mahomes for a deep playoff run. And the QB is raring to go.

Another Super Bowl loading?
Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs have become a regular feature of the Super Bowl in the last few years. In the last three seasons, the Chiefs have made it to the biggest game twice. They have a 1-1 record in the Super Bowl though, winning it in 2020 while losing to Tom Brady the next year.

Last year, they lost to the Cincinnati Bengals in the AFC championship game. The Bengals QB Joe Burrow has become a sort of a kryptonite for Mahomes. But fans do expect him to get over his nemesis this time around. And Mahomes has shown that he can do whatever he wants on the football field. The Chiefs have lost just three games going into the final game. So, is another Super Bowl loading for the Chiefs?
