Antonio Brown sent the emotions of the whole NFL community for a toss on January 2nd this year with his on-field antics. 262 days after that infamous meltdown, his the-then teammate Richard Sherman sheds light on what actually happened that day.
While talking to a YouTube channel, Sherman discusses the events leading to Antonio Brown’s eventual outburst on the sidelines.

It all happened in the Week 17 match-day of the 2022-23 NFL season. Tampa Bay Buccaneers had met the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium in an important tie. While the Bucs were trailing 10-24 to the Jets in the middle of the third quarter when the star wide receiver stripped off his jersey on the sidelines and exited the field. However, the Bucs made a great comeback and rallied to win the match 28-24.
Sherman opens up about the controversial event
The 8-time Pro Bowler Patrick Peterson and 2-time Super Bowl champion Bryant McFadden run a channel on YouTube named “All Things Covered.” One-time Super Bowl champion Richard Sherman appeared in one episode and poured his heart out.
“Bro, you have no idea. This is..that was one of the craziest games I’ve ever been a part of.”, Sherman said to the broadcaster duo. He also told about how Brown was ‘getting kind of fired up’ on the dugout.
He also mentioned how HC Bruce Arians talked to Brown just before the meltdown happened. “…you look up on the Jumbotron. And you see the video of him like taking the shirt off and doing that and you’re like, yeah, what? But it had already happened. And this was just a replay of it.”

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers released Antonio Brown right after that match. “He is no longer a Buc, alright? That’s the end of the story,” Head Coach Bruce Arians told in the post-match press conference. Brown later released a statement saying Arians forced him to play despite an ankle injury. He also accused the HC of threatening him while saying, “You’re done.”
Browns remains a free agent with no club showing interest in him till now. Meanwhile, he has focused on his music career releasing a rap single named ‘Pit Not The Palace.’ He even performs shows in nightclubs as a professional rapper.

However, some NFL insiders claim that getting another chance at gridiron in the near future should be a simple task for the one-time super bowl champion.
