The 2021 NFL Draft is just around the corner. Reports indicate that Clemson Tigers prospect Trevor Lawrence is all set to be anointed as the 1st overall pick at this year’s draft. He is reportedly said to be followed by Zach Wilson (BYU), Justin Fields (Ohio State), Mac Jones (Alabama Crimson Tide Football Team), and Trey Lance (NDSU).
We expect these 5 quarterbacks to be selected within the first 15 picks themselves. Now, popular NFL analyst and draft expert, Peter King, has an interesting theory regarding the sixth quarterback to be picked at the upcoming draft, Kyle Trask.

23-year old quarterback Kyle Trask spent four years (2016-20) in the Florida Gators football program. He concluded the 2020 NCAA season with 4,283 passing yards and 43 passing TDs against 8 interceptions. He finished his final NCAA season as a Heisman Trophy finalist in 2020.
Peter King’s Football Morning in America is a widely read column. He is renowned for his bold takes on all things NFL. So when he speaks about a player like Trask, we pay heed.
“I think I’m starting to think Kyle Trask, the Florida quarterback, has a good chance to be the sixth first-round quarterback. Starting to think,” King wrote in his weekly column.

Last year, Trask became the first quarterback in SEC history to throw 4 touchdowns in 5 consecutive games. He finished the season with 43 passing TDs, breaking the previous record held by Danny Wuerffel since 1996.
The three teams being linked with Kyle are reigning champions Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New England Patriots, and New Orleans Saints. Apart from the Bucs, New England the Saints are on the hunt for a young quarterback to usher them into a new era.
